T: Welcome back to school. Summer is not over, it’s still very hot every day, but the summer break is over now. How was your summer break? Was it great? Was it OK? What did you enjoy the most?
– How was your summer break? What did you enjoy the most?
T: S1, how was your summer break? S1: It was OK. T: What did you enjoy the most? S1: I stayed at home and saw a lot of movies. T: That’s good. How was your partner’s summer break? S1: He says it was great. He enjoyed playing with his friends.
Was it great? Was it OK? What did you enjoy the most?
T: I am sure you will never forget this year’s summer break. Is there anything you should have done in the summer break? I mean, something you planned or wanted or tried to do but you couldn’t do. In my case, I should have spent more time with my sons. What should you have done?
— What should you have done?
T: S2, what should you have done? S2: Well, I should have finished my homework earlier. I was very busy on the last day. T: It happens to everyone. What should your partner have done? S2: She says she should have spent more time with her cat.
Now, the school has already started. Tell me your ambitions. What goals do you want to achieve? What are your goals in this fall?
– What are your goals in this fall?
T: S3, what are your goals in this fall? S3: I have two goals. First, I practice playing the guitar every day. Second, I will pass Eiken grade 2. T: Cool. What are your partner’s goals in this fall? S3: She says she is going to read at least twenty books in this fall. T: Everyone has good goals. Try hard to accomplish the goals.
What goals do you want to achieve?
What should you have done? I should have spent more time with my sons.
