それでは、今回のトレーニングを始めましょう。
トレーニングの流れは次の通りです。

1　英文を聴く。（必要に応じて、何度聴いてもかまいません）
2　質問を聞き、正しい答えを選ぶ。
3　もう一度英文を聴く。
4　もう一度質問を聞き、正しい答えを選ぶ。
5　英文と質問を読み、答えを確認する。（英文にわからない部分があったら辞書を引いて調べましょう。何度も音声を聞きながら音読しましょう。）

Toronto: An International City

Toronto is Canada’s largest city, with a population of almost three million people. For several reasons, it has become a well-known international city. People who want to move to Canada from other countries choose Toronto because there are many chances to get good jobs. The city has many different neighborhoods, such as Chinese, Greek, and Russian. People who moved to Toronto from the same country live and work together in the same neighbor hoods. These neighborhoods have many good family restaurants and stores selling goods from the people’s home countries.

Another reason is its many tourist spots. Thousands of visitors from all over the world come to Toronto every year to visit nearby Niagara Falls. The city itself also has many places to visit. One of them is the Canadian National Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings. There are many museums and shops, too.

The third reason is the University of Toronto, which brings thousands of students from across Canada and around the world to Toronto. It is the largest university in Canada, especially famous for its medical and engineering studies.

For all these reasons, Toronto has become a truly international city and an exciting place to live in or to visit.
