学校入学時には必ず目標を聞かれます。自分が立てた目標を覚えている生徒も多いでしょう。すでにその目標を達成したかについてやりとりしてみました。目標を立てたときには日本語で考えていたはずなので、英語にしづらい目標を立てた生徒も多いと思います。S1のパートナーの「学校祭を思い切り楽しむ」などは、英語にしづらい目標の典型例と言えるでしょう。必要に応じて教師が英語にするのを助けると良いと思います。生徒はその表現を覚えるでしょう。S1のパートナーは To enjoy the school festival perfectly. と答えていますが、実際には多くの生徒はTo enjoy the school festival.としか言わず completelyを加えられないと思います。re-castの形でcompletely を加えることを教えてやると良いですね。
